Vergangene Nacht gab es mal wieder einen fetten koronalen Massenauswurf auf der Sonne, der in Richtung Erde rast; da werden von der NASA mal wieder Sonnenwinde als Polarlichter demnächst erwartet. Siehe dazu diese GIF-Animation der NASA hier. Impact-Zeitpunkt in der Nacht von Freitag auf Samstag. Schade, dass das sommerliche Wetter mal wieder in unseren Breiten nicht mitspielt und wir in die Röhre gucken oder ins Kino gehen müssen, um vielleicht bei SUPER 8 zuzuschauen.
Wie in unserem ersten Beitrag für heute an diesem SUPER 8-Starttag erwähnt ist in Amerika derzeiten MUFON arg strapaziert (vielleicht wird man demnächst deswegen auch 'fachkundig' Kollege Peter Davenport von NUFORC hinzuziehen, der sich bereits zu den ID4-UFOs 'bestens' bewährt hat, um als konservativer UFOlogie-Märchen-Komponist zu wirken). Hier wird wie immer, KEINE "wichtige sozio-hygienische Arbeit" wie bei CENAP (Befund von MUFON-CES) geleistet, dafür aber der 'pathologische' Mental-Virus des UFO-Legende weiter gepflegt. Ist ja immerhin auch 'schon was'...

"UFO caught on camera" ist heute die Headline der 'Katherine Times' - siehe hier - und sie berichtet:
Only a day after the last reported UFO sighting in the Northern Territory a Katherine man has not only seen a mysterious object in the sky - he also took photos of it.
David Schuman was having dinner with his boss Phil Richardson near Katherine's Strongbala Men's Healing Centre last Tuesday when an "unusual large star" caught their eyes. "We were both seated around the dinner table, discussing various subject matters and running through the day's events when all of a sudden the boss changed the subject and said in a slightly raised tone 'Hey, that's an unusually large star - I have never seen one as big as that before and in fact that's too big for a star, what is that?," Mr Schuman said. "Through the open window we saw a very large brightly lit object and it just stood there, hovering there for 20 minutes or more, and motionless above the tree line."
Mr Schuman said he walked outside for a closer look, before grabbing his camera. "I usually carry my camera with me where ever I go - even in the shower, because you never know," he said. "There was a real glowing about the object and it was very bright and every picture that I took was done with a degree of urgency about it when it started to move."Mr Schuman said in a later "examination" of his photos he came across what seemed "to display two aura rings within the brightly lit up orb".
The UFO spotter said he also saw what looked like "a fuzzy triangular shape enclosing the object within, which seemed to be cloaking it's outer edge. One area at the end of the craft (had) what I perceive to be two hot spots are a fuzzy silvery grey. The other end of the craft on the other hand appears in colour to be of a fuzzy dullish orange," Mr Schuman said. "Is this the real deal or is this something that the military have conjured up to put the wind up people," he said. "But my boss thinks not - that it wasn't anything to do with the military as it was nothing he had ever seen before in his life."
Mr Schuman said the object suddenly started moving towards him while he was trying to take photos. "Suddenly the bugger started to change shape then it swung out wide to my far right ducking in beyond the trees and at a height 30 metres at a rough guess and in an easterly direction. Then it began changing colour appearing to separate prior to it disappearing as it quietly moved away. We heard an almost silent woosh until it finally faded out of view. Who knows - maybe we are not quite so unique as we first thought after all. We are not alone I think."
Only a day earlier Katherine man Brian and UFOlogist Alan Ferguson had spotted "bizarre" things in the Northern Territory sky. And earlier last month at least 30 people witnessed a UFO in the sky over Brazil (die Sao Paulo-Lichtrad-Geschichte um den LED-ausgestatten Ballon; wir berichteten).

UFO spotted over Cottered
The village of Cottered has been thrust into the middle of the UFO debate after a disc-shaped object was spotted early this morning (Wednesday August 4).
BBC Radio 5 Live was deluged with calls after sports reporter Mike Sewell described seeing the strange sighting as he drove through Cottered on the A505 at around 4.50am as he made his way to Stansted Airport to cover a football game in Sweden. ... The reporter presumed there must be an airfield nearby but the mysterious object then banked to the south in the Wood End and Ardeley direction. ... The disbelieving journalist said he watched it for two or three minutes and soon after losing sight of it decided to turn back. He lost track of the object but did see a higher bright light in the sky with a bright white light. But he says he wasn’t alone during the time of the incident – a Volkswagen was travelling along the road in front of him at the same time, the driver of which "must have seen it."
... Cottered churchwarden and de facto village historian Neville Chuck was awake at the time of the sighting, but didn’t notice bright lights in the sky. "I didn’t see it and we’ve never had anything like this happen before as far as I know, but I’ll keep my eyes open." Priest-in-charge Mike Leverton said: "I’ve got seven people staying my house at the moment but no-one saw it. I’m certain there is a normal explanation. Cottered is on the Luton flightpath and there can be weird reflections. There are no aliens in the back garden as far as I know."
But just in case little green men are wandering around the village, he added: "We would welcome them into the Church of England, we welcome everybody," saying he would offer them a cup of coffee providing they had come in peace. A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire police said they had only received one call on the subject from a member of the public regarding the sighting. She added: "This is not a regular occurrence but we always encourage anybody to report anything suspect – strange people, strange aircraft and the like on our non-emergency number 101."
Das freizügige 'Arsch-und-Titten'-Klatschblatt 'Daily Star' machte daraus gleich eine "close encounter with a UFO"... - und zeigte dazu auch gleich "Lesergerecht" (Stichworte: Wahrheit und Klarheit; 'News of the World') ein dolles 'Fliegende Untertassen'-Symbolbild, siehe hier.
An der Internationalen Raumstation ISS gab es gestern Außenbordarbeiten am russischen Modul in einer EVA; hier zunächst ein Zeitrafferfilm dazu:
Na wenigstens die Astronauten werden wohl weit über den Wolken eine tolle Sicht auf die anstehenden Polarlichter über dem Blauen Planeten haben, schließlich haben sie ja ein Fenster zum All als kleiner 'Wintergarten' von der ESA spendiert bekommen. Da kann man so oder so nur neidisch sein. Ansonsten gab es bei dieser EVA mal wieder UFOs zu 'sehen', wie gestern Hansjürgen Köhler bei NASA-TV sah, als sich wieder einmal reihenweise 'Schneeflocken'-UFOs der Eiskristalle von der stählerner Haut bei den mechanischen Arbeiten lösten. Ansonsten siehe hier dieses Video von einem Eiskristalle-UFO-Freund, wobei leider praktisch nicht die Sequenz zu Geltung kommt, bei der richtig was zu sehen ist (was soll der Quark wenn es viel besser geht?):

Bei der NASA gilt es quasi wie an Bord der ENTERPRISE: "Mr. Zulu, die UFOs auf den Schirm!"
Aber wie man hier sehen kann, reagieren die NASA-Leute im Kontrollzentrum (als ihr dauerhaftes Weltraumkino) cool, nämlich gar nicht auf die UFOs der Ufo(un)logischen. Klar, weil sie diese Effekte bis zum Abwinken kennen; am Schluß steht sogar ein Mission-Spezialist auf - und verpisst sich 'hektisch' sowie völlig adrenalingeschüttelt außer sich vor dieser verborgenen Weltsensation (bei der er fast im Stehen einschläft):
Stay Tuned... - und bleiben Sie Cool, auch wenn derzeiten eine AFP-Meldung aus Toulouse umgeht, wonach mehrere Leute vergangene Nacht ein UFO über Südfrankreich gesehen haben. Da haben wir ja schon wieder Ausgangsfutter für unseren nächsten Beitrag heute. Na alla.
